STATISTICAL TEST

Another type of problem is represented by the possibility to detect the MICROLEAKS  (to say leaks smaller than 0,04 mm) that  are normally due to the  production processing  and therefore repetitive: we means the  welding or seaming problems that can be detected only with the water bath and still today this old system remains the most used.

We have worked for a long time upon  this problem and after significant experiences with some prototypes that are regularly operating, we can offer today a definitive solution that includes our  latest  developments increased with the Customer's cooperation: this solution is represented by the statistical tester. The statistical tester checks only a small part of the production, but thanks to the longer time and the more over-refined testing system,  the results are today comparables with those of the  WATER BATH, with  all the advantages that a full  automatic system offers: 

• No personnel is engaged.

• The test can be carried out continuously,  24 hours/day.

• If a faulty can is detected on the statistical tester, the machine gives a signal or stops the line because this can must be checked carefully to establish the problem and therefore provide with the necessary adjustments of the line:  generally, as above said,  it is  a welding or seaming problem that requires an immediate inspection of the respective machines.

The statistical tester can work together with a tester for the 100% of the production (in fact all our testers 100% are predisposed for  a quick connection  with the statistical testers) or also separately from the 100% tester, to say  it can be used for testing small series of cans out of the production line, or for special checking like those it is necessary to do in case of  contestation from the Customers.
